Trailhead, access, and parking

Recommended draft route starts at Lower Macleay Park, 2960 NW Upshur Street, then uses Lower Macleay to reach Wildwood at Stone House before heading south toward Pittock Mansion.

Lower Macleay parking is limited and neighborhood-sensitive. Pittock Mansion parking and access rules should be checked separately before publish if the page describes a point-to-point or loop ending there.

Route overview

Start at Lower Macleay Park and walk the creekside trail to Stone House. At the Wildwood junction, turn south and begin the climb toward Pittock Mansion. The route becomes more sustained here, trading the canyon floor for forested switchbacks and occasional city-overlook context near the mansion. Turn around at the overlook for the cleanest route. If a loop variant is published, verify every connector and sidewalk segment against the official map and current access rules before indexing.
